IELTS TRAINING

IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is used as the language of communication. IELTS is required for entry to university in the UK and other countries.

IELTS is recognized by universities and employers in many countries, including Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK and the USA. It is also recognized by professional bodies, immigration authorities and other government agencies.  More than 700,000 people a year take the test.

You get a score between 1 and 9. Half scores such as 6.5 are possible. Universities often demand an IELTS score of 6 or 7. They may also demand a minimum score in each of the 4 sections. OCEAN INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE guarantees to give the best aid to students in order to get the highest mark possible, if not a reasonable target score.

IELTS TRAINING at OCEAN

OCEAN’S IELTS training is carefully designed to enrich knowledge and the best skills to performing well in the IELTS test. Furthermore, the learners are given an actual test experience in a series of “mock tests”, most especially speaking, listening and writing test.

COURSE

PLACEMENT TEST

Before registering, the students go through a series of tests: listening, vocabulary and grammar, and writing. After that they are interviewed by foreign teachers in order to properly assess the level of students and place them correctly in the appropriate class.

IELTS TEACHERS

The teachers at OCEAN INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE are well – experienced IELTS instructors, dynamic and well-prepared, and are equipped with expertise with their years of experience in teaching IELTS. They know well the demands of the students and they do their best to give them the best training for a high score target.

PROGRESS CHECK

Students’ progress is carefully monitored through practice tests and their effort in class.

In IELTS class 1 and 2, there are three tests within the duration of the course. The learners are interviewed directly by foreign instructors to master their English speaking proficiency. Other assessments are focused on the learners’ ability in listening and writing. The students answer a series of questions and they are assessed through a trial test (MOCK TEST) at the end of the course.

In all courses, teachers often assign tasks for students to do at home. They are tasked to revise their errors to help them keep track of their improvement.

CERTIFICATION

The students who successfully finish the course and are able to accomplish the requirements and scholastic exercises thereof will be granted an English Certificate by OCEAN in the Recognition and Graduation Ceremony at the end of the course.
