GENERAL JAPANESE

This special course of Japanese for communication is designed appropriately for the adult learners who want to improve their proficiency and capability of using Japanese in varied purposes. In each course (LEVEL 1 -BEGINNER, LEVEL 2- INTERMEDIATE and LEVEL 3 - ADVANCED), a set of grammar exercises, vocabulary enrichment and other related supplementary resources are prepared particularly for the learners to suit their Japanese proficiency level. They are honed in their knowledge on vocabulary and correct pronunciation. As well, they are trained to perfect their speaking and listening skills through interactive discussions and dynamic activities.

OCEAN INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE gives a maximum guarantee to its clienteles that upon finishing the course, they are able to improve their Japanese ability (especially, pronunciation skill) and that they are carefully guided and trained to be more confident in speaking the foreign language.

OCEAN has modern facilities necessary for making the learning in OCEAN a comfortable and conducive one. In here, we study with an overhead projector and an outstanding audio and video system which bring forth to the students an effective way to learn Japanese.

Courses

LEVEL TEST

Before registering, the students go through a series of tests: listening, vocabulary and grammar, and writing. After that they are interviewed by foreign teachers in order to properly assess the level of students and place them correctly in the appropriate course.

TEACHERS OF OCEAN

The teachers at OCEAN INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE are well – experienced Japanese instructors, dynamic and well-prepared, and are equipped with expertise with their years of experience in teaching Japanese. They know well the demands of the students and they do their best to give them the best training for a high score target.

SELF – STUDY

Students at OCEAN can practice in a well- equipped self –study room after studying in classroom.

PROGRESS CHECK

The students are given regular homework to help them retain the day’s lessons. These are in the form of supplementary writing activities and additional grammar quizzes. More so, the students are given a MIDTERM TEST (a check-up test) in the middle of the course, and a FINAL EXAM on the last day.

CERTIFICATION

Students will be granted certificate after each course finishes. The success level of the learners depends on their effort, cooperation and diligence in studying.

OCEAN instructors use the subjective approach in their teaching pedagogy. With this, the students are more carefully guided to practice their speaking skill. The application of this special method in teaching allows and prepares the students to join in advanced classes.
